We will drop you off on the Ohio River to explore for a few hours! You will float back to our location and pass many different underground railroad locations and homes, pass the 18th US President, UIysses S. Grant's home and the creek he most likely played in as a child ( Big Indian Creek ). Pass the oldest floating performance boat and the historic village of New Richmond, Ohio along the way.

This allows you to take your choice of ether a Brooklyn Fishing Kayak or Perception Fishing Kayak. Every kayak rented comes with paddles and a universal life jacket.
Take your kayak camping, on vacation or just your weekend getaway!
The kayak can be rented for multiple days at a time. All operators must sign a waiver, and must be 18 to pick up the kayak.
The only form of payment can be credit card.
Kayaks can be picked up at the Schack’s Yaks LLC store in New Richmond Ohio

The shuttle leaves every hour on the hour. Bring your own kayak to place on our 12 foot trailer. Park your vehicle in New Richmond, stop in the store to check in, enjoy your day on the water, and then float back to explore historic New Richmond, Ohio.

Our kayak kiosk allows you to scan a QR code with your phone after downloading the app ( Koloni ). Each rental comes with a kayak, paddle, and lifejacket. Kayakers can expect to see lots of wildlife down Bracken Creek with great fishing too.
